Re: The Pollina Constitutional Crisis

The Secretary of State’s office weighs in on the Pollina Senate-Shopping Controversy. Turns out he’d need only a year’s residency in Chittenden to make the nut. To wit:

“Under Chapter 2, Section 15 of the Vermont Constitution:

“No person shall be elected a Representative or a Senator until the person has resided in this State two years, the last year of which shall be in the legislative district for which the person is elected.

Food for thought. Junk food, at least.
