About Marc Nadel’s Cartoons

Marc Nadel began his career as an angry young caricaturist, contributing to publications such as The Nation and Business Week. He then turned to portraits, which have appeared in books including A Jar of Tiny Stars: Poems by NCTE Award-Winning Poets (Boyds Mills Press), and Operators and Promoters: The Story of Molecular Biology and its Creators by Harrison Echols (University of California Press).

Mr. Nadel’s long-running children’s book series, Top Secret Adventures, received the Distinguished Achievement Award for Excellence in Educational Journalism from the Educational Press Association of America. His book Carl Sandburg: Adventures of a Poet, by Penelope Niven (Harcourt), was a Junior Library Guild selection, and was chosen one of the best children’s books of 2003 by the New York Public Library and by Book Links magazine.

Mr. Nadel teaches drawing at Champlain College.

But now the politicians have pissed him off again, so the images you see here are all their fault.
