Topic: the influence of the media, both new and traditional, on the 2008 election cycle.

Sue Allen spoke primarily to print media, Kristen Carlson covered broadcast television, and I yapped about the Internets. UVM political scientist Tony Gierzynski moderated, and the crowd was refreshingly engaged, to the extent that in the final moments we were pretty effectively challenged by the cameraman from Channel 17.
