Had a great event out at Wake Robin in Shelburne the other day, with a room full of extremely engaged and active seniors. Almost everyone I talked with had not only a cause, but a practical, methodical plan for getting it attended to in Montpelier or in DC. These folks take government, and those it’s supposed to protect, very seriously indeed. A quick shout-out to the inimitable Laurie Burke for making it happen. All roads in Shelburne lead to Burke, they say.
