CIA Director Porter Goss, clarifying the torture issue yesterday with Charlie Gibson on ABC News:

“GIBSON: How do you define it?

GOSS: Well, I define torture probably the way most people would — in the eye of the beholder.”

So it’s a lot like beauty, then, in that sense.
